Hobbies and pastimes.

Creative. . .

I grew up watching my mom decorate cakes and sew clothes, my dad design circuit boards, and my grandma arrange flowers and knit blankets, hats, mittens, and more. As a child, my favorite toys were LEGOs, construction paper, scribble pads, Crayons, paint, cray pas, glue, string, wire, scissors, and tape. I have fond memories of designing seasonal displays for my grandmother's refrigerator, making potholders on a loom, painting at my easel, rolling out salt dough shapes, sifting through jars of colorful buttons, twisting scraps of wire into jewelry, tying friendship bracelets, stringing beads, hooking rugs, and, especially, helping my mom frost colorful cookies for every holiday and special occasion throughout the year. Though my skills haven't necessarily improved with my age, I still love to be creatively messy.
